I'll post it here since responding would break Skinner's record of ignoring me.

Skinner: In this forum you said you gave blanket immunity.

That perhaps is true for those on a timeout for exceeding five hides.. You restored their posting privileges. But that isn't true in my case. Immunity in my case was purely cosmetic. You deleted two arguably objectionable comments I made while on jury duty that you had retained in my profile like a scarlet letter, but you never restored my jury privileges, either to serve on a jury or even the ability to alert. While others abused their immunity and restored privileges, my privileges were never restored; you never gave me a chance, nor the time of day for that matter, ignoring my email inquiry about it.

I very very rarely alert - maybe 5 times in the 10+ years here.

I tried alerting an anti-semitic OP the other day and after I hit send, the OP popped back up as unflagged. I tried again, same thing. I was so perplexed I even PMd another DUer who said they'd been able to successfully alert on it (hosts locked it a few minutes later so I knew I hadn't mis-read the anti-semitism and it wasn't a frivolous alert).

I'm sure I've been blocked from juries -been months since I've seen that (I only have 1 hide too ). Now I guess I've also been blocked from alerting.

The current system of moderating here on DU is done. It completely failed, and I take full responsibility for that. Yes, we are still using it, but we have already signed its death warrant. We have a completely new system and we are going to insist on some standards.

Pretty sure people tried to tell him juries and shit wouldn't work, way back in the day, but whatever. Universe knows what horror awaits us after the primaries.
