5/25 Oregon Update!
Greetings, my friends! This is just a quick update on the number of votes that the Associated press (still) isnt reporting from the Oregon democratic primary. If youre confused about where Im getting these numbers, I suggest you go back and read the last article that I wrote on the unreported Oregon results.
Since the last article, Ive collected updated numbers from Multnomah, Clackamas, & Marion counties but, because many counties do not have further updates scheduled until June 1st, Ive been unable to collect enough information to give an accurate projection for how many more votes will ultimately be added. Nonetheless, Ive unearthed an additional
2,132 votes cast for Sanders & Clinton
Sanders has 1,583 of them and Clinton has 549! Then, adding them all to my updated total from the previous article
Bernie Sanders 56.8% (350,757 votes) + 1,583
Hillary Clinton 43.2% (266,341 votes) + 549
Total Votes Cast: 617,098 + 2,132
We arrive at the most-recent count, which is
Bernie Sanders 56.9% (352,340 votes)
Hillary Clinton 43.1% (266,890 votes)
Total Votes Cast: 619,230

(22,000 posts)I really had expected Sanders would get over 60% of the vote. I suppose if a lot of ballots have not been counted it could happen. They sure do take a long time to get the final results in.

a couple of years ago the results had to be recounted because there were several issues that were too close to call - one being gmo farming.
