Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumA why didn't I think of this earlier moment:
The reason that Hillary does not want to debate in California is probably that she does not want Fox News asking her about the e-mail investigation.
Of course. Right in front of our eyes.
She is running scared.
Bernie Sanders -- the next president of the United States.
Bernie is fearless, honest and lovable. What more could anyone want in a president.
Bernie beats all competitors hands down.

(3,040 posts)That is a power play on Hillary's part. She is telling Sanders to kneel down before her and drop out because she holds all the power.

(57,936 posts)Sanders will stay in.
And we in California will vote for him in good numbers.
She is not the queen. And I don't think she ever will be.
Bernie is the one with the strength and compassion for the job.
Read his book.
In 1980 or thereabouts, he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vt. by a small margin. They wouldn't even let him pick his own secretary.
He made so many friends and did such a good job that he served four 2-year terms and then was elected to the House in 1992.
When he ran in the Vermont primary this campaign season, he got over 85% of the votes of Democrats. That is how revered, loved and respected he is in Vermont. And Vermonters know him best.
I have no fear. Bernie is going to win this thing.
Feel the Bern!

(3,577 posts)His writings about policy in 1997 are almost verbatim copies of his speeches in this campaign (except that inflation has made some of the numbers out of date). He describes the corruption in politics that was similar but milder than what we have today. (The revision, Outsider in the White House, covers his political career up to part way through his time in the House, with a new Foreword and a long essay about the presidential campaign by John Nichols, who is always a treat to read.)

(35,643 posts)I think you should do some up-to-the minute reading. Her "power" is circling the drain. She was weak and now she's even weaker.

(39,451 posts)So why not practice when it's against Bernie? Because there will be a day when she is on faux debating Trump.
And that includes questions about her email. If faux doesn't ask her about it now, they *will* ask her later.
I hope hope hope hope hope you are right about Bernie!

(36,988 posts)That she avoided the debate but now she can not avoid a press conference now.
But of course she say 'I cannot make a comment at this time.
because of........ blah, blah, blah. But how long is that gonna last especially when the FBI report and then the Justice department add on to this growing can of worms.

(9,298 posts)or even visited in Vermont, but became well acquainted with Bernie listening to Friday "Brunch with Bernie" on Thom Hartmann's show. And time again, came to the conclusion "this man has to run for President." Reminder to self: Send Thom a thank-you note.
Huge K&R and thanks for posting the TRUTH, JD.
