Want to know what to give Bernie and Jane on their 28th wedding anniversary? They don’t strike me as the kind of couple who have a lot of material needs, but here are some suggestions they’ll truly appreciate:

1. The best thing you can give today is 28 minutes of your time phonebanking — one for every year Bernie and Jane have been married. California, New Jersey and six other jurisdictions are holding primaries between now and June 15, and Bernie needs a good showing in all of them to get the nomination. You can search for events on the campaign website or get information about phonebanking from home.

2. Like talking to people face to face? You can canvass to identify Bernie’s supporters and recruit undecided voters to come out for Bernie. Click here for more information or to sign up.

3. Don’t have time for phone calls? Kids keeping you from canvassing? Texting has turned into Bernie’s secret weapon! The Text For Bernie team needs all the people we can find to get out the vote in June — Click here for more information or to sign up!

4. Facebook addicts, have we got apps for you! Check out Bernie Friend Finder to talk to friends of friends in upcoming states, or use the Feel The Bern extension to invite friends to events that tell them when, where, and how to vote!

5. The Bernie Messenger lets you let family and friends know about upcoming events right from your smartphone. Help your friends register to vote, let them know about upcoming events and remind them when it’s time to go to the polls. Check this page for more information and links to download the app.

6. And of course a donation to Bernie’s campaign is always exactly the right color! I’m suggesting $28 in honor of the occasion, but any amount is welcome and appreciated.
