My 87-year old "aunt" is Feeling the Bern!

talk about a shock!

Her kids are die-hard pukes but she has always been a registered Democrat.

She told me she thought Sanders was the best choice and that she is going to vote for him as she does not believe that HRC is "trustworthy".

I had often wondered if she was a closet Republican to be honest with you, but that is not the case.

One more vote for Bernie Sanders!

On edit: Said "aunt" is a foster aunt and she happens to be ... Cherokee and Woa, Nelly! She sure has a "point of view" so to speak! Don't mention the word "treaty" around her is about all I can say! *eek*

She is well-schooled on Indian history (her mom was fluent in Cherokee and knew how to "swear" in Cherokee according to my late mother).

I was very shocked as she was threatening to register as an Independent but who to vote for exactly?

So, yep, one more vote for Bernie and every vote counts and I'm still in a state of absolute *shock*!

She's a tough one she is. Still lives on her own and still manages to drive w/one eye, etc. Amazing really and she's the only "aunt" I've ever had other than her late sister (who was also a force to contend with too, not that my mother was any saint herself *double ack*!).

This is ironic to me as being she does not appear on any list, she's very sympathetic to Elizabeth Warren and her story. It is a bit like her story too, except she's got lots of blood and her father shows up in the 1900 census stating that his mother was born in "Indian Country" which took a big pair at that particular time!

Sad story what her family and mine have gone through. Good old steal the land, rape the women and act as if all is just fine ... except DO NOT TELL ANYONE (you're "Italian" ok).
