Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI am feeling ground down and worn out with Primary fatigue. Counting on my fellow Berners

(12,253 posts)You've worked hard to do the right thing, to remind others to do the right things and you've given as much as you can give for now (at least until you rest!) and it's not unusual to be ground down by work especially if stress is on top of it. Bernie is worth it, so you can consider your time well spent. He still has a chance, so don't give up. That he came this far is a miracle and he opened a lot of heads along the way. The change is just beginning, the ideas are alive again.

(250 posts)This is a marathon. Even the best get tired. Find moments to ignore politics for a day or so and remember the good that is out there. This helps me to realize why the fight is so important. Everyone needs a mental break.
Rest up. This fight is just getting started.
GO BERNIE!!!

(16,327 posts)Just look at pictures from Bernie rallies -- and look at the youth, and how Bernie DOMINATES among the youth vote. They have gotten a taste of The Real Deal, a liberal who has shown them the possibility of a different kind of country than what they have grown up in.
It is almost certain now that Hillary Clinton will be the last of her kind of "Democrat" nominated.
The future belongs to Berniecrats.

(39,451 posts)& am having to deal incompetent people in the Az court system (I'm a legal guardian)
and I just unleashed on my daughter when I called her - just venting, not yelling.
I told her I have to deal with all this other crap and all I wanted to do today was make phone calls for Bernie because this is it, and if he loses California I don't think I can deal with it.
I feel worn down today.
I never cared this much about an election and a candidate. And as passionately as I want Bernie to be our nominee is how passionately I do not want our nominee to be her. And now it all comes down to California.
It hit me last nite.

(4,280 posts)We are all getting weary, and need each other for support. I'm still a member of the Democratic Party but after November, it depends. This has been the most contentious primary since I cast my first vote in 1960.

We not I. We have your back and care about you.
Isnt that what we are fighting for?
Take a nap, grab some chocolate and count your blessings. Fight again another day.
