(12,233 posts)I don't reconginze half these posters as Democrats!!! When have "the base" ever, ever thought to cheer on war or corporate bribery of our politicians? When have we ever had democrats look at factual data emerging from state after state of election fraud, and claimed it to be a conspiracy (like they forgot all about 2000 and 2004)?
When has any party allowed EVER for a candidate to run for an elected spot that is under FBI investigation. What's her first day going to involve, pardoning herself? OR for blatant foreign donations to flow into a foundation run by someone who would be the TOP executive in our govt? (Seriously, if it was called the Bush Foundation and money was flowing in from all parts of the Middle East and from major corporations, Democrats would normally be calling for investigations and fraud of the Bush Family).
I can't understand to this day what her message is other than: I'm and woman, it's my turn, and I'm not Donald Trump. What direction does she wish to lead the nation? How does she expect to accomplish anything as one of the most untwisted people in American politics, and how exactly do we get a democratic congress to actually write progressive legislation? I don't see her being a positive force with coat tails this election, I would almost guarantee that 2018 will mark an even more abysmal turn out for midterms. If we don't have a majority back in the congress and in state houses around the country by 2020, republicans get to gerrymander the census data again for another 10 years.
So, congratulations, first female. Makes me sick as a female that out of 51% of the population, Clinton is the best we could find? Lol. What a joke. Unfortunately, the joke continues to be played on the public. And from what I see, the natives are getting restless. Change can come peacefully or violently, but when there is this much obvious corruption of govt, elections, and massive inequality, change is going to occur... It could get much worse or it could go progressive, but as we see, there are quite a few Trump supporters cheering on facism and they tend to have weapons.
