Well just a positive note here from So. Cal.

I decided to drive past the local Elections Office of the Registrar of Voters down the hill
this morning around 9 am. It was packed! Parking lot was full.
There was a man standing in the parking lot holding a cardboard box
with a slot in it. It said Ballot Box Drop.

I dropped off my ballot a couple of weeks ago. I usually don't check anything
out during elections. So I don't know if this is normal for a primary here or not.

I also haven't checked the polling places around here. This place is conservative.
So probably wouldn't mean anything around here. (mountain area)

I'm thinking many of those voters will go to their precinct to vote.

My drive around town (on errands ) saw the same senior citizen brigade as always, but it was early in the
day.

It's always an exciting time....and much more so since my area has a Democratic Congressperson, now.

I usually go down about once a week. I thought I would drive
a little out of my way to see what was going on. I was really
pleasantly surprised. There are stories on Reddit also about
voters demanding a Democratic ballot. Other voters recording
the interaction. The poll worker giving in and giving the guy a
Democratic ballot.
