Bernie Sanders Politics

Leading in greater social Justice and greater economic justice
More democracy-no super delegates, time off from work to vote, etc.
People participating in the social contract together for the greater good
War as a last resort
Politicians working for voters as a whole, not big donors and lobbyists
OASDI
Free tuition for public institutions of learning beyond high school (as California once had, I believe)
Greater fairness in the tax system

Sea changes in U.S. politics, thanks to Bernie Sanders and his supporters http://www.democraticunderground.com/1280109865

Get ready to watch all those freak flags fly.

In a way it's somewhat comforting to finally realize that we will never vote our way out of this mess. Once I faced the reality that direct revolution has now become the only path to freedom. A sense of calm determination has filled every part of my soul.

We now know what we must do. Relish in the only life we have to give for freedom. WE WILL WIN!!

But I'll be doing a helluva lot more fighting than voting over the next decade or so.

Where it's not on fire, light a match. Where it is, throw some gasoline on it. We're not going to get anywhere working within the system.

If anyone manages to get one going, despite NASA, phone taps, cameras and mikes on city streets, etc: US armed forces, state militias, militarized state and local police, Homeland Security, RW vigilantes. Besides, most people would much rather endure boiling frog syndrome than run headlong into sudden death. MAYBE, when the US looks like this, we'll have revolution, but I don't think the PTB has never let it go that far.
