Questioning/challenging Clinton’s (or anyone’s) history and positions, and their impact on our future, cannot be silenced because someone else might be worse. Those demanding such silence are encouraging more suppression in a period already painfully marked by suppression. And too many are doing it hatefully.

It's frightening to what extent she's become St. Hillary, or perhaps The Virgin Hillary, she who is without sin.

NONE of her negatives have truly gone away, they've simply been papered over, whitewashed as it were.

28. I've been saddened to see it

expressed on the Thom Hartmann show by Thom himself. He has been a reliable progressive forever and goes back a long way with Bernie, but he will not allow any criticism of a certain candidate and last week cut off a caller who tried to express concerns about her.

I found it sad and somewhat unnerving.

30. One thing not to lose sight of is the reason Bernie is still working hard:

If Hillary refuses to adopt a substantial number of of Bernie's platform planks, she will effectively be letting Trump run to her left and to my way of thinking, that's the only way Trump will win. He's begun adopting the most popular of Bernie's ideas, at least the stated purposes of Bernie's ideas, to bring jobs back to the middle class, for example. Trump has said he will vote against the TPP and he is against all these trade deals because they're bad business. Don't think that these ideas are not getting Trump a lot of independent followers.

If Hillary runs to the right of Trump, she is seriously endangering her whole campaign. If she adopts the best of Bernie's proposals, including his refusal to vote for the TPP, she is making it much more likely that she will beat Trump.

I tried to have a conversation about inclusiveness and was immediately accused of calling the indictment fairy. Vicious unfounded attacks and incredulity that I had the nerve!
