Washington, D.C. The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) today announced that Democratic Presidential Candidate and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders will address the NALEO 33rd Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.
Senator Sanders address to the NALEO constituency will be one of his first major public appearances since his livestream remarks to his supporters earlier this month. The remarks at the NALEO Conference will take place at 8:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Pre-set details and logistics information will follow.
Former New Mexico Governor and Libertarian Presidential Nominee Gary Johnson will also address the NALEO Annual Conference at 1:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Both addresses are part of a three-day event held from June 23-25, 2016 in our nations capital, which is expected to draw more than 1000 Latino elected and appointed officials and national leaders from across the country.
