Sanders tells Stephen he is still very much a candidate for the nomination, and will take his 1900 delegates to the convention to push for change.[/font]

If Sanders had many fewer delegates and if you added ALL of the superdelegates to Sanders total and he still would not have enough for the nomination, he should give up his campaign.
But Sanders has enough delegates that, if combined with all the superdelegates (which is of course very unlikely, however possible it may be), he would have enough for the nomination.
It's logical to keep the campaign alive.

(12,471 posts)He mentions things that concern us all, and he is correct. It's a pity that he is not our candidate.
On another point, each time I hear Bernie, his voice rings true to me. Being from Brooklyn, he sounds like an older brother talking to me with the accent and intonation that I grew up with. It's a warm feeling like I am being brought back to my childhood home when I hear Bernie.
I really wish he was our candidate.

(15,189 posts)Hang in there Bernie. July 25th hasn't arrived yet, and all this talk about the inevitable is just talk. A lot can happen and I hope some light is shed here.
