I miss DU, and everything it once was. Now it's just an echo chamber for the third way.
Yeah, yeah, I know this will be "removed" which kind of proves my point.

(17,158 posts)and lower wages can be. Turd Way indeed. If you call it that, you get hidden for calling names. Multiple juries every day and we don't even get to see results.

(9,684 posts)If you decline to enforce a "rule" you allegedly won't be asked to serve on another Jury that alerts on that rule. So I am systematically refusing to enforce the rules.
The fact that you cannot make a comment along with your vote bothers me too.
I wonder how many members DU has lost over the last couple of weeks now? I might be gone too if it doesn't lighten up. Too bad.

(2,353 posts)It has become a massive echo chamber where bashing Bernie is a-ok, and accusing Bernie supporters of being right wingers or freerepublic users is a-ok.

(36,063 posts)In a political nation dominated by two parties that the void can only be filled in one way.
I'm old enough to remember how another void was filled in after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
In 1976 assassination-by-drone warfare would have been unthinkable, outside of circles of the mad scientists at DARPA, let alone defended as good policy by a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.

(17,158 posts)I don't even feel that I can post here anymore. Basic posts supporting Democratic ideas such as worker rights are routinely attacked by people I thought would support those ideas.
Thanks for the reminder.

(38,080 posts)It's a very happy place, with many thoughtful posters. There are some very astute thinkers and researchers there, so you will get the latest news.
Many posters kept their names, although there is a thread where people tell who they used to be here (if they changed user names). Reading the posts is just like old times.

I've been there since they launched. Lots of good folks there!
