U.S. Senator and 2020 Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders will join striking workers on the picket-line at UCLA on March 20th and speak at a noon rally. More than 40,000 University of California employees will be on strike across UC campuses and medical centers in the largest strike of 2019. Research and Technical workers of UPTE-CWA have called the strike to challenge growing inequality and a drive to privatize at UC. UPTE Healthcare and AFSCME workers will strike in solidarity.

Picketing will begin at 7AM at 757 Westwood Plaza. The location of the noon rally will be posted soon!
