(62,325 posts)But I think I have just found one. Not that far, about an hour away. They say to call tomorrow to see if it is going to be there! I'll be bringing a friend, a non voter who is ready to sign up for Bernie.

(17,997 posts)I hope you can go. Maybe have one yourself? I am sure there are other people in your area that want to go
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)to see if they can coordinate them. Where I am the population is so scattered people would have to go a long way to get here. This area is more populated and we have to go there anyhow, so may as well go on the 29th!

If you want to sign up, do it now.
You go to Bernie's campaign site and then click events. It's not directly under volunteer. You have to find events.
Good Luck. A lot of events are filled, but try anyone. Maybe they will open up additional ones if there are enough volunteers interested.

(22,271 posts)When people RSVP it does not take into account how many people are coming with them. So, if John Jones registers and says he's bringing 3 guest the RSVP is only counting 1 (the person who RSVP'd). I have a feeling these events are going to bring in more people than is indicated on the RSVP count.

(248 posts)I was a little upset at first because a few days ago there was only one event going on in my town. By the time i looked it up it was already at capacity (which is a good thing!) I just checked this morning and a new event has opened up in my town. Go Bernie!!!

(18,791 posts)I just did a pretty wide search, 50 miles, of my area of Los Angeles...
101 events!
Wow!
I've been following these since they were first posted and I can hardly believe how many have been added. Several say, "I went to sign up but they were full, so I'm hosting"...and now their meeting is full!
To those that keep talking Bernie down and denying that any of this is going on...ha!
winter is coming
(11,785 posts)That's pretty much the population density map for the US. Where there are people, there are Bernie supporters.

(533 posts)First my group was to meet at a home, but it grew too big.
Then we were to meet at a library, but it grew too big.
Then we were to meet at a Student Union--but it...well you know.
Now we are meeting at State Dem headquarters.
