Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who is running for the Democratic nomination for president, live-tweeted the first GOP primary debate on Thursday night using the hashtag #DebateWithBernie.

Sanders posted an image of himself on a couch with a clipboard ahead of the debate, inviting people to watch along with him.

The old media is irrelevant, I bet more people would watch a debate on Twitter than on the Old Media.

What a contrast between how Bernie & Hillary utilize the social media. He is nimbly and ably debating the GOP candidates, LIVE, and without any focus groups or consultants, and using the GOP debate to gain at least 10,000 followers. HRC is doing selfies with Kardashian and West at yet another fundraiser.
