1. There used to be a strong movement here for verified voting

Then it seemed to die out.

The Republicans are winning through voter suppression, gerrymandering, and voting fraud. The voting fraud I have witnessed first-hand in election after election. The Koch brothers are very cunning as they have poisoned the political system all the way down to the school board level (and probably even lower). Who is going to blow the whistle? If we are really going to take back our country, verified voting is even a more compelling priority that ending Citizens United as people are beginning to question candidates who have just too much money to spend.

In the guise of eliminating all but non-existent voter fraud, they legislate massive election fraud.

I lived in WI and I know how corrupted that state is with corrupted state election officials (Waukesha County especially) and rampant gerrymandering and it's a difficult problem to overcome considering that Koch Industries owns the state on all levels of government. I think the best, and perhaps only, way to combat the problem is to constantly expose the abuses on a national level... that becomes much more possible now that "Shifty eyed" Walker, the most corrupt of them all, is running for president!

It's truly a cesspool of corruption in WI and another election scandal would go a long way to bring the whole corrupt mess crashing down...

Boston went to paper ballots for the 2004 Presidential election.

2007 to 2011 made clear Democrats in D.C. have no intention of doing anything about it.
