We need to get someone to loan Bernie a private plane
He shouldn't have to fly commercial. ......

2. Noooooo!
Not like The Annointed One, with her "loaner" private jet.
When it's time...the campaign will charter their own aircraft and crews...and pay for it, not freeload off of some Bankster, Billionaire or Hillionaire. |

3. No no no no no.
But not all candidates in private planes die in plane crashes. More to the point, general aviation has a high accident rate compared to commercial aircraft. And even more to the point, the time will eventually come when Bernie will be flying in some sort of chartered aircraft, but until then he will be able to stay much more in touch with the electorate by flying commercial.
The longer he can stay outside the inevitable bubble, the better off he is. Although this does make me wonder how often Hillary Clinton flies commercial. |

16. Never. Harken, who has endorsed her recently, paid $50,000 in air fare
to get Bill and her to his "Steak Fry" last year.
Meanwhile, last year, at or after that steak fry, he said she was not liberal enough. So, who does he endorse? sigh. |

5. he flys coach. which
is a lot less espensive than a private plane. I really think he likes to KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).
He doesn't want to spend the small donors money for 'frills'. My kind of politician!!! Hasn't been any like him before that I know of. |

17. Even though I was for Obama in 2008 and in denial about anything that did not
match my enthusiasm, a few things made me queasy. One was ordering a custom built replica of Air Force One, down to the Presidential seal on those white cloth things they put over the top of each seat, built for him to use during his campaign. I continued to donate, though.

6. I think Bernie would be safer on an Airliner. Perhaps some donors might pony up
for the tickets.

11. You are right.......
Take it from a retired airline pilot, and before that, charter pilot and private aircraft owner for more than 40 years. It's the best and safest way to travel.

12. He's probably safer in commercial.
It would be easier for assassins to take down a private plane than a commercial one that is surrounded by a lot of security and other passengers. Remember Paul Wellstone.

14. I agree with all of you
just don't want all the travel he is doing to wear him down. It would me! and I'm only 59.
He has amazing stamina and energy for his age. And his mind is as sharp as a tack! |

15. No, No and No he starts flying around in private planes he will lose those on the fence
He needs to travel on commercial air just like the vast majority of people who fly. In this election the more common he behaves will win support.
HRC and the GOP would pounce all over him and attack for flying in a private plane. No, HRC and the GOP would not be hypocrites either because it is common knowledge who they are really representing. Both Democrats and Republicans are sick and tired of elected officials acting like royalty. Trump is betting on hate and anger to win, HRC is betting on fear, Sanders is betting on the PEOPLE. |

19. Perhaps he could at least upgrade from coach to first class, though.
He's not the king, but it's good to be comfortable, too. He's a very tall man and coach doesn't have much leg room.

20. Sure why not fly enough in coach they will up grade him.
But if he wants to pay for first why not he has the income.
I upgrade/pay for business or first if the flight is long it is worth it, well to me it is. |
