Whats up with Biden and Warren? (Original Post) Pharaoh Aug 2015 OP

but Biden probably didn't have his heart in it. When the paymaster yells Jump, the good soldiers don't even ask how high.

Biden's been battered by his son's death and other things in his life. I don't think he's that crazy or suicidal.

Trust in Elizabeth. She's one canny lady. I would like to see her as Majority Leader in the Senate! The wailing and gnashing of teeth would keep voice coaches and dentists in clover for months. And teamed with Pres. Bernie and a good Speaker, we might actually start living our oaths and living up to our promise.

Warren and Biden discussed economic policy during a meeting that lasted about two hours, a person familiar with the discussion told CNN, adding that the presidential campaign or Biden's future was not a particular focus of the discussion.

but highly doubt it was anything to do with Biden possibly running for president.

It would only make sense if folks thought that Bernie supporters only support Bernie because they hate Hillary, and/or the DNC thinks that Bernie's supporters will desert him for Warren as a VP (nope) and/or if the DNC is still so clueless and delusional as to believe the women who support Bernie would support Warren as VP. Of course, that begs the question as to why does Bernie have female supporters at all, but the DNC drinks its own, Dom Perignon-supplied, upscale Kool-ade, safely away from the voter rabble, in their air-conditioned bubble..

I am not going to worry about it. Asked my Redditor grandson about it and he said that Reddit likes Warren as much as Bernie - because of THE ISSUES - but feel that being VP is like being Queen of England. Represents, but has no power. Big waste. So no shift of support from there, the young people are only interested this time because of what Bernie says. They consider Hillary and Biden as corporate tools. They are not the unthinking team players that the DNC wants, and that is totally the DNC's fault.

All those billion-plus dollars worth of TV ads will pass them by, too. And campaign advisers who did not know that Twitter Audit and Facebook auditing tools can tell how many followers/likes are actually real - do not understand social media much, if at all. This is all kind of horrifically entertaining to watch.

Today my son asked me about what I knew about Bernie Sanders and what was going on. He's been so turned off that I have to drag him to vote...I've been less than enthused myself, but he asked me about Bernie!! I was waiting, it was a great moment...

Thanks for your comment.

on whether if he made a run she would be in as VP. Which I don't believe she acquiesced to. Or least, held her cards for now.

Other than that, if I had to guess I'd say Biden is hearing a lot along the lines of "Can you do this much for us: Just as insurance for our party can you do the bare minimum of preparation in case we need to call you in for relief?". The meeting with Warren could be unrelated, peripherally related, somewhat related, or totally related, to that.
