If you are not posting or active in the Bernie Sanders group and you alert on a post or thread we will not take action on it.
I just got 4 alerts by people who are anti Bernie Sanders. You can guess who they are and what groups they are from. I wanted to let you all know what they are doing.
For clarification ...group members may be deemed as being those that post in the group although all pro Bernie Sanders DU members may also be deemed as members of the group. The alerts I mentioned were from people who have and continue to show hostility to our candidate and or have been blocked from posting in our group.

(13,961 posts)One of the biggest SHAME moments on DU is that the African American group has literally been invaded by people from other groups to the point where four major posters got alterstalked, and the same is there in the feminist group. Your rule would help them.

(2,382 posts)... I couldn't help but notice your signature line. I loved Richard and Mimi Farina! Not many today remember that Mimi was Joan Baez's sister. I saw them live a couple of times; Mimi was killer on the autoharp. And I enjoyed Richard's novel, "Been Down So Long It looks Like Up To Me." He died the night of the release party for that book, if I remember correctly. Too bad; a terrible loss.

(2,116 posts)Someone I loved wrote on the album sleeve to "reflections in a Crystal Wind", she wrote "not to be played". She wrote that after his death. I believe she kept that promise until she wanted to share it with me. I was quite honored.
Some times the key to poignancy is the subtle yet critical impact of inconsequential things. At least seemingly.

(8,175 posts)But one of our Dem candidates running in the primary. I think that is rude and uncalled for on a forum that is supposed to support the democratic nominees.
Jokes are fine. But there is a thin line that I think was crossed with this one. Like I said, I don't alert, so it would have gone by me, no problem...but I can see why a Hillary supporter would alert on it.

Now that I'm posting, I feel like a lot of it is aimed at me, so it's more personal. But still, I should be just blowing past it and ignoring it. It's not worth the heartburn.

(16,410 posts)[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]I reacted strongly and negatively to that line, too. The other thing that gets me is someone supporting Hillary solely because she's a woman.
Someone else posted, though I can remember whether it was here or on Facebook, that she "endured two Bushes, so now it's time for Republicans to endure two Clintons."
Voting based purely on gender or some misguided sense of dynastic entitlement is idiotic. Issues and policies, how a candidate addresses them, and that candidate's historical record are what count.
Feel the Bern!

(7,006 posts)And Amazingly, this is not surprising in the least. Between Bernie Surging, Biden buzzing a run and Hillary falling into a 2007/2008 delux with her poll numbers -- the natives are getting nervous.

A war vote is not something you fix with an apology, as if you said something carelessly that hurt someone's feelings.
By her own words in the book she wrote as part of gearing up for this Presidential run, as she was writing letters to families of New Yorkers dying in that war, she knew the war was a mistake--and she still said nothing. What kind of apology could overcome that?

(56,829 posts)when you are flagged you can't post.
was the flagged message there when you posted? it isn't there now (though it does say you had one hide in the last 90 days)
L0oniX
(31,493 posts)Kali
(56,829 posts)usually the "flagged for review" notice is posted next to your profile and is generally a temporary time out for getting two hides in a row close together. when flagged like that you can't post at all until admins unflag the account.
you mentioned above that you didn't have any hidden posts but there is one listed, that is probably what you got in the in-box.
one hide doesn't do too much but you can't start a new thread in whatever forum it happened in for an hour or so and can't reply in the thread at all again.
The only hide I have is so old it's about to expire. Honest ...there was no reason for the flag. I know the admins reserve the right to TS anyone at any time with out explanation.
Curmudgeoness
(18,219 posts)that you can be flagged for review if one of your posts (like this OP) gets too many alerts. The first alert would be the only one that goes to jury, and the jury in this case would not have hidden it. But there might have been a pile-on of others alerting, which would bring this to the attention of the admins or MIRT. At least that is what I have been told elsewhere.
If you saw the email regarding the flag this morning, it probably went out last night and the email was sent, and you were unflagged before you ever opened DU back up. You would not have been able to post if you were still flagged for review.
Kali
