1. Important info to keep pushing.

The deadlines register differently State-by-State so it's good to remind folks. I'm registered in California but I vote in Thailand where Democrats Abroad is active and we have local polling stations.

When caring for my sister last year in Oregon, it was easier to renew my driving license in Oregon, and with the new law there I will be automatically registered, so I have to get that straightened out and have the correct party designation, then make a decision where I want to vote. As long as I only vote once, I'm legal. But VOTE we must. That's how he wins.

2. The October 9th deadline is for people who are already registered to vote, but not as Democrats...

If someone isn't registered at all yet, the deadline will be sometime in March 2016 (election law states 25 days prior to the election). The state Board of Elections does not yet have 2016's political calendar up, but here's the website anyway:

3. The deadline for Greens, indies, etc. to change registration in time for the Democratic primary

EXPIRES before the very first Democratic (and exclusive) debate. So much for disaffected former Democrats.
