Every few years, Congress gives us a "reform" of something. And it always benefits the investing class. Doesn't matter if it's called financial reform, investment reform, tax reform, whatever. Most Democrats are happy to go along, since it usually nets them nice campaign contributions, jobs for their friends, new investment opportunities, etc. We need to work on getting progressive candidates elected at all levels of government.
