Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI just sent another 15 bucks to Bernie.
I am committed to him as a candidate. Hell, sending 15 cents is better than taking the status quo without doing anything.
You made me feel better tonight that there is someone thinking about Bernie.

(5,275 posts)I just sent another $35. If he can somehow prevail, and best Ms Super Pac, maybe we can start dismantling the plutocracy.
We need to look to Canada, who just elected an unabashed progressive. We need to go all FDR on this nation and soon.

(39,961 posts)Moving to Canada looks better and better every day, but I love my country and I refuse to abandon it just quite yet. I'm willing to fight tooth and nail for things to improve for our country and everybody in it.
We have to as a people stand up and boldly state that our country is a place for ALL of us, not just the wealthy. That is the only way anything will change.
And I firmly believe that there is a change in the weather - all of the right politically connected people are getting nervous that they might get thrown out, and that is a good thing.

(1,573 posts)...and it's easier for us since his company had some locations in Canada, and we live 10 miles from the border. And we're both so polite, that when we go to Canada, the Canadians are surprised we're Americans! (And that's not an exaggeration - we've heard it several times.)
