one week later she said "I am a progressive and I know how to get things done"
"I went to Wall St. and told them to cut it out" (and walked away from there with a few million dollar checks.)
Hillary knows how to get things done for her high dollar friends.

Will Hillary Clinton ever release a platform re: race or criminal justice?

She will eventually, maybe, but as long as she's already winning black voters over by like 75% or so, there's no real reason for her to be in an hurry to do so.

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

The picture explicitly shows Hillary being offered a wad of cash and thus quintessentially corrupt and money driven. This doesn't belong on DU. There has never been a shred of evidence that Hillary has ever accepted a bribe and it is extremely distasteful.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Fri Oct 23, 2015, 02:21 PM, and the Jury voted 1-6 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Nothing to see here at all, just an illustration of Clinton's connections to big money. She doesn't need to be bought she is freely so inclined.
Now watch while I go rec that thread.

I had heard comments about the ugliness of the other site, but didn't realize exactly how ugly they meant until I followed a link and say posters, some of whom I used to respect, saying things like

He's not in it to win, and he doesn't expect to win. He's in it for the few months of glory (I'm sure his wife put him up to it anyway), the free tour of the United States at his fans' expense, and the wealth that he gets to keep after he drops out.

I'm not even sure Bernie wants to win. Stupid stuff like this makes me wonder all the more. He'd probably shit his pants if he actually won. Same with Trump. It's about ego and attention with these two. And if I'm right he is screwing all his delusional cult followers.

The reawakening may very come in a couple of years when President Clinton can't get anything at all worthwhile accomplished with both houses of Congress firmly Republican and firmly anti-Hillary. Then - and probably only then - Americans will finally begin to realize that they "shudda voted for Bernie".

Unacceptable from the left these days. Really guys? You can't condemn someone for their policies in an effort to change their positions and then denigrate them for doing just that.

Us: "you're wrong on xy and ž! Rawr!"

HRC: " you know, your right, and so is Bernie. Here is a publication explaining my policy positions now. "

Us: "No, we don't accept anyone changing their position to align with us or to apologize. Ever. We don't forgive, and we don't forget! '

HRC: " Oh, I though I was working with intellectuals, not the Tea Party.... "

Us: " yeah well, um, we are intellec.... Hmm.... How very ass hatty of us... "

Why we would eat our own (just like Republicans) I'll never understand. How about we follow Bernie's lead and stop these silly attack adds.

Sat Oct 24, 2015, 11:12 AM

she is changing her mind on EVERY SINGLE IMPORTANT ISSUE we face as a country, literally.
This is why her numbers for being trustworthy are underwater. People don't trust her because she changes her mind more often than any other candidate in history.

Here are a few choice things.

TPP
KXL
NAFTA
Iraq
Minimum wage
Gay marriage
DOMA
Crime & mass incarceration
Drivers licenses for undocumented immigrants

On and on it goes. No, we're not acting like Republicans, we're acting like progressives who see through her little charade of changing positions in order to be popular among American voters. We don't need a POTUS who is changing their minds all the time and "evolving" on the issues. I vote for rock solid positions, not someone who's a sand castle.
