actually I agree with you. It's been a long struggle on a worldwide basis. As the man said "you have nothing to lose but your chains".

But some countries historically made some improvements - and not just Denmark. They managed to create a middle class in which there was actual upward mobility rather than just royalty with one small ruling class and then all the slaves/workers. The US was one of those places for nearly half a century (I'd say 1940s-80s). But that's gone and the attempts we are making now to elect a person who could take us back in that direction are being effectively squashed.
