It's the color for ATA. Don't have a choice. But it draws attention!

(45,251 posts)I am fearless about speaking the truth, even in Tennessee. That I look hideous in orange is true and anyone who saw it on me would agree.
I look downright yummy in many shades of peach and apricot, though. Maybe we can compromise, orchard-wise?
As I've told marym625, I don't own anything pink. Well, maybe that one piece, but we all fall for a huge markdown every now again, don't we? I think I gave it away after wearing it once in Florida. (I blended right in with a flock of flamingos. A cheeky one even made a pass at me.)

THIS IS A PRO BERNIE SANDERS/MULTI-ISSUE RALLY. If you don't support Bernie but support a majority of his platform, this rally is for you, as well. We fight for much of the same things, and a united progressive movement is needed to slow the advance of the Koch-backed Republicans. Solidarity is needed if we want to see a positive change for our country. Are you ready for a Political Revolution?
WE FIGHT FOR THE 99%. We believe Black Lives Matter. We believe that corporations are not people. We believe that we should not kick out 11.3 Million immigrants. We believe that money has flooded and corrupted modern politics. We believe in Peace and the right to earn a livable wage. We believe healthcare is a right and not a privilege. We believe in free public school college tuition. We believe in a woman's right to choose and equal pay. We believe LGBTQ+ individuals are our brothers and sisters, too. And we believe and trust our scientists who tell us that climate change is real and that we need to take urgent action against it.
#ENOUGHISENOUGH, San Diego. Its time to join the Political Revolution.

(20,453 posts)What exactly do I do to get to those hashtags? So far, I've been following Bernie and just re-tweeting.
I know, I know... I could probably get help via Twitter, but I'm multi-tasking and walking for Bernie today to talk to some of the black community of Pittsburgh. Life is too jumbled!

(17,997 posts)Thanks so much for coming and staying. Kinda sucked that you and the other 2 DUers I met weren't ever at our table at the same time.
Such a pleasure meeting you.
I sucked. I saw a video. I completely missed a note card tying in citizens United into what we're doing. Oh well! Next time!
Thanks again!
