I'm speaking at the Enough is Enough/Bernie Sanders West Coast rally tomorrow

Americans Take Action ATA an offshoot of Wolf Pac, is working to get the CAFREEAct on the 2016 ballot.

I'm the co-coordinator for the North Coast Team. We'll have volunteers collecting signatures and my co-coordinator and I are near the top of the program.

Wish us luck!!

I am fearless about speaking the truth, even in Tennessee. That I look hideous in orange is true and anyone who saw it on me would agree.

I look downright yummy in many shades of peach and apricot, though. Maybe we can compromise, orchard-wise?

As I've told marym625, I don't own anything pink. Well, maybe that one piece, but we all fall for a huge markdown every now again, don't we? I think I gave it away after wearing it once in Florida. (I blended right in with a flock of flamingos. A cheeky one even made a pass at me.)

Fri Nov 6, 2015, 06:53 PM
Nov 2015

People for Bernie Sanders Enough is Enough Rally

Bernie Sanders will not be at this event.

NEW DETAILS!
We will meet at the BEA EVENSON FOUNTAIN in Balboa Park, which is right in front of the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. We're proud to have short speeches from local leaders, including:

• Bernie Sanders enthusiasts and City Council Candidates Sarah Saez and Jose Caballero (Progressive Democrats of San Diego)
• Local Bernie Sanders activist and Vietnam veteran Michael Johnson
• D’Marie Mulattieri, Field Organizer for California Clean Money Campaign
• John Hearley, Clean Elections
• Derek Casady, Climate Mobilization
• Alison Hartson, National Director for Wolf PAC which works towards overturning Citizen’s United
• Paul Sasso and his famous Tesla Bern Machine (as seen on CBS and ABC News as well as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert)

Schedule:
10:00am - Social Networking
11 - 12:30pm - Gathering, Speeches and Rally
12:30 - 2pm - March

After the speeches, we'll march down El Prado to 6th Ave. where we'll turn back down El Prado until we reach Pan American Rd. East. We'll take a right here and following it South to turn left on Presidents Way. Then we'll reach Park Blvd. to march North back to the fountain (45 minutes; 2.3 miles).

There will be a groulp leading a shorter route, as well. For those who wish to march down El Prado to 6th and march back El Prado to the fountain, the route is 35 minutes and 1.5 miles.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS to man tables for voter registration, and pass out waters and flyers. Please message us if you’ll be willing to help.

THIS IS A PRO BERNIE SANDERS/MULTI-ISSUE RALLY. If you don't support Bernie but support a majority of his platform, this rally is for you, as well. We fight for much of the same things, and a united progressive movement is needed to slow the advance of the Koch-backed Republicans. Solidarity is needed if we want to see a positive change for our country. Are you ready for a Political Revolution?

WE FIGHT FOR THE 99%. We believe Black Lives Matter. We believe that corporations are not people. We believe that we should not kick out 11.3 Million immigrants. We believe that money has flooded and corrupted modern politics. We believe in Peace and the right to earn a livable wage. We believe healthcare is a right and not a privilege. We believe in free public school college tuition. We believe in a woman's right to choose and equal pay. We believe LGBTQ+ individuals are our brothers and sisters, too. And we believe and trust our scientists who tell us that climate change is real and that we need to take urgent action against it.

#ENOUGHISENOUGH, San Diego. It’s time to join the Political Revolution.

STEPS TOWARD POLITICAL REVOLUTION:
1) RSVP by clicking Join and select 'Going'.
2) Click on Invite to invite your friends.
3) Click on Share to spread the word about this event!

6) Listen to our speakers at 11:00 am and join our march at noon!
7) Register as a democrat to vote for Bernie in the primaries.
8) Go home feeling awesome, join the Progressive Democrats of San Diego, get involved in local politics, fight for fair and clean elections, continue to spread the word for Bernie!
