Just heard on MSNBC that Bernie will go on before Hillary

Last edited Fri Nov 6, 2015, 07:37 PM - Edit history (1)

Shouldn't she go first, since she's leading the polls?? I think Bernie is placed at a disadvantage by going before her.

(Democratic Forum live at MSNBC tonite at 8pmET).

If we pass these LGBT non-discrimination laws, then any woman might have to face Bernie Sanders in the bathroom.

People have been talking about his butt-crack for days!

given how it's Hillary's DNC that won't allow actual debates (where candidates
get to ANSWER charges leveled at them); but no, no debate unless it's only six,
where DNC arranges for them, and dictates many of the terms thereof.

I was mostly joshing you.

Doesn't someone have to go first?

Should they open with a staring contest and the first one to say something has to keep talking first?

Or should they talk at the same time on different stereo channels?

I'm not particularly aware of whether the format will have any rebuttal.

But, you said it wasn't "fair" for Bernie to go first. Does that mean it would be "fair" for Hillary to go first, if there are no rebuttals?

But the candidates would have agreed on the method - coin flip or whatever - since someone has to go first.

As for your intution, it sucks:

passed, and she'll ask him about it tonight. Also Rachel does not, or cannot bring up on her show important issues like TPP, Net Neutrality and Climate Change (corporate taboos?) which Bernie emphasizes. He's too liberal and she's not for him is the consensus.

Tweety is disgusting, a real windbag interrupter with 3 points who seriously needs to take up golf, full time. What an embarrassment.

You know there's another Forum on Immigration with Bernie and O'Malley on Sunday livestreamed from Las Vegas, 4 PM PT according to The Nation. The info. is posted in GD-P by elleng.

shows build to what the show considers the main attraction because we've seen it so many times. They don't put Bieber on first and the lady who saw Jesus in a potato chip on at the end. They want the audience to hang in there throughout.

Don't expect anyone in media to favor Sanders or you will be continually disappointed.

Because this way people will hear Bernie's message FIRST. This way they will know that Hillary is just parroting him, and trying to woo the Left. If Clinton went on first, she could mention that she is for ALL of Bernie's points, and people would think that Hillary came up with them first!

If she repeats anything he says well then.....
on the down side she had the advantage to take notes and add or subtract. I thought her video was unfortunate in the sense that she used the "screaming thing" again.
Sad really.
