Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI am calling it: It's the Donation O'Clock Fundraiser for the Bernie Sanders Group
https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/duforbernieHe was great at the debate.
Do you want the Democratic nominee to be owned by Big Business or by Big Voter? It's up to you.
No excuses: I make an automatic monthly donation, but I just kicked in something extra. Minimum donation is a dollar.
(If you truly can't spare a dollar, I love you even more )
It's Donation O'Clock. No time like the present. Get on it. I mean it!

(45,251 posts)I was brought up to keep good deeds, charity and the like secret. I do still believe that you ought not brag about such things. However, a little bragging sometimes seems to encourage others. So I am always a bit conflicted.

(1,945 posts)But I donate when my retirement check is deposited, which is the last day of the month. So it will be a little while yet. (I did kick in an extra ten bucks on Veterans Day cuz Bernie takes care of vets, so I want to take care of him! )

(1,945 posts)Thanks for that link and post, I will read and use that info when my apolitical Vietnam vet husband complains that 'they're all the same'.

(45,251 posts)And yes, there is a difference between (1) claiming you support vets when you run for office and (2) claiming you can get things done (implying others do not); and actually getting pro-vet bills passed and actually getting things done.
