Sanders Sets The Record Straight: My Supporters Are ‘Not Anti-Clinton’

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2015/08/30/sanders-sets-the-record-straight-my-supporters-are-not-anti-clinton-video/

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, once thought to be an underdog in the race to win the Democratic primary, has been swiftly gaining on Hillary Clinton for months, but Saturday marked an important day for the Democratic Socialist: an Iowa poll placed him within seven points of Hillary Clinton.

Democrats are split on which of the two candidates, both of whom have a lot to offer our country, they support the most, with 37 percent standing behind Clinton and 30 percent supporting Sanders. The poll includes Joe Biden in the mix, but Clinton still falls well below her typical 50 percent if Vice

President Biden is not considered.

“This feels like 2008 all over again,” said J. Ann Selzer, pollster for the Iowa Poll. The Des Moines Register reminds us that in 2008:

“Clinton led John Edwards by 6 percentage points and Barack Obama by 7 points in an early October Iowa Poll. But Obama, buoyed by younger voters and first-time caucusgoers, surged ahead by late November.”

The publication notes that Sanders “is attracting more first-time caucusgoers than Clinton,” claiming 43 percent of their vote, compared to Clinton’s 31 percent. Among voters under 45-years-old, Sanders leads the former First Lady by an astounding 23 percentage points, and by 21 points among Independent voters.

I think we need to shout out to the Boomers who also support Bernie, and raised us to do the same. Hi Mom! Hope DU sees fit to cancel the black hole that the Hillary vigilantes put you in soon. It's been since SATURDAY...

therefore hate her - because there is no other reason they can think of that you would not support her.
Issues? They do not seem to care, they just fling charges of hate, sexism, ageism, or whatever. That is my take on things, and my opinion.

(if there is such a thing), but there seems to be a strong correlation between those who are quick to act like bullies, and quick to act like victims.

HRH supporters are so quick to tout how invincible they are, yet seem to have the thinnest skins, and quickest to go on the defensive.

Some Bernie supporters are anti-Hillary. Doesn't mean most, or all, are. Many feel Sanders is the better choice based on his record and positions.

No matter what, the outcome will depend on who votes (and whose votes get counted). The message has to be- If you are a Sanders supporter, vote, no matter what the media tries to sell you.

and the lack of scrutiny thereof.

Sure, Bernie may be considered an adopted Democrat, and sure people may be against adoption for various reasons.

But once you do choose to adopt, what you can't do is think it's fine to treat them as a second-class citizen. It only works when you accept them 100% as part of the family, and treat them as such.
