(7,024 posts)NH voters were there? WOW.
I don't expect any corporate MSM to show this because this could embarrass Hillary...

(4,825 posts)I don't know how many NH voters were there, but I'd say mostly Vermont and some from all over.
Plenty of press from NH and much more from Mass. It was 86, sunny, humid, with a breeze off the lake, a perfect day for it, though I like speeches during thunderstorms too.
There was mention of FDR in his speech, both explicitly and implicitly in our nation's needs, regarding the disparity in wealth, the unemployed, work programs, rebuilding the infrastructure, banks that are too big to fail, Wall Street, the 1%, our oligarchy.
It's worse (than in FDR's time) now economically regarding the disparity in wealth, and green house warming adds another factor to the present situation. Bill McKibben spoke to that as did Bernie.

(39,215 posts)And back then we had cheap resource (energy, etc) that made it easier to get out of the mess. Today that is not true. But there are some good things that in another way make it actually better today. Back then we did not have welfare, health care, social security or food stamps. What help there was back then was very limited.
I think Bernie is great and I very much want him to win. But it was a joy today to lay our a plan to get out of this mess like no one else has for a long time.
