Already today I've seen threads that Bernie is a gun nut, sexist, can't win, etc etc. They're throwing the kitchen sink at us. Be on the lookout for alert bait.
Edit: Oh look. Now Bernie thinks cervical cancer is caused by a lack of orgasms, which explains PP's endorsement of Hillary. Of course!

(70 posts)unless she herself makes comments that make us angry, we should hold our fire, supporters often are totally unscrupulous in what they do/say. IMO
So glad you used your third post to school me. I'll take it into consideration.
I am sorry you felt that I was "schooling" you. I guess I was talking to myself as well as you. It's so easy to let all the stuff coming down on all sides that once in awhile I have to make the consideration I posted myself. Sorry.

(4,458 posts)this crap failed to arouse response from those of us in support of Bernie? That's what this vitriol is all about-Bait, imo I want to see a detailed complaint against his policies and rationales as to why it's good/bad etc. Enough with the tossing of the bs superficial "fluff and stuff" that makes little to no difference in the ballot box.
Imo-it's time to get down to the hard, real and serious facts about why Candidate A/B is the best choice for All.
I'm frustrated by the Clinton ops.

Hopefully Bernie wins early and their side collapses like in 2008. Sick of the Clinton War at all costs mentality.

(1,573 posts)Just to warn you, people can be a little testy around here these days. Try not to take anything personally.
And welcome to the Bernie group, too. We're a pretty good bunch!

(41,600 posts)They're apoplectic about something. I can just see this place after Bernie wins NH, IOWA AND NEVADA.
Should be fun!

(14,255 posts)and a failure here at DU. As if Bernie supporters would switch due to an endorsement, as if issues and history do not matter, and as if not supporting Hillary is the equivalent of not supporting PP.
Also, the baggage we all were speaking of a year ago, is starting to be dragged out. Won't be pretty, and not Bernie's or his supporters' doing. Reminds me of that saying - don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Now, that was from the Baretta theme song, and the irony, of course, is really massive there, but this generally holds true. Also think the attempts to label stuff "old news, and voters won't pay attention" are gonna be huge failures, too.

(5,420 posts)oh sorry, I've seen that too. They haven't much to use against Bernie so when they think they have something, it's such a big deal for them. Kind of funny, kind of sad. One more reason to make sure Bernie wins because if Hillary should win we would have to hear that misogynist/sexist shit constantly from her.

(9,522 posts)I have been POed about Ms. Richards daughter working for Hillary. Just seems like Quid Pro Quo to me, and does either Hillary or PP need the appearance of corruption? Even just stating FACTS about the situation has resulted in my getting stalked, accused of not being a democrat, of being a right-wing anti-abortionist, etc. I did not say I wouldn't donate or encourage anyone not to donate to PP.
I can't believe how vicious it all is. For being a Bernie supporter and having an opinion.

Bernie Sanders' Popularity Making Hillary Clinton Campaign 'Nervous'

In light of tightening polls, the Clinton campaign has also ramped up its aggressive opposition against Sanders.
Whenever divisive charges of racism, sexism, gun humping etc. start to ooze out again you know Sanders is seeing another good round of polling.

(1,573 posts)...and tied with Bush. They of course didn't poll Bernie against the R's. Probably didn't want to know THOSE results.
