http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35276042

President Barack Obama will not publicly back any presidential candidate before the Democratic Party has chosen who is to lead its battle to retain the White House in November.

Maybe he learned his lesson from Arkansas, where he openly supported the Conservadem in the Democratic Senate primary, and although she won the primary with a dubious run-off victory, she went on to get her ass handed to her on the proverbial platter in the general election.

That would be kind of appalling if he did.

I'm disappointed that other organizations and persons haven't also waited. Instead of being an indication of support, it's being used as advertising to garner votes. Let the candidates earn their own damned votes.

header here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/110733536

and a) could only assume it means what it says, that the WH was endorsing Clinton in
the Primary, and I was so pissed-off I couldn't even bring myself to poke-through, to
read the whole article,

And since then, I've made one or two posts decrying this (not OPs thankfully);
What a strangely and hugely misleading headline that is .. damn..

Double-shame on Politico for publishing that bald-faced lying header
