How Can We Help Bernie And Counteract Clinton And Her Surrogate's Attacks On Him....

DWS has done everything in her power to keep Bernie down and today we have a number of Clinton surrogates led by Claire McCaskill using 'hammer & sickle" and "socialist/socialism" to sully Bernie and his bid for the nomination. And I just heard today that even Joe Biden took a shot at Bernie by saying something to the effect that we don't need socialism. MSM is helping these negative attacks along by bringing on her surrogates and not having Bernie's surrogates on to refute their allegations.

Bernie has run an upstanding and clean campaign thus far as he said he wouldn't go negative and he's taking Hillary on by sticking to the issues. Hillary is not returning the favor and instead she and her surrogates are hitting Bernie hard.

I want to know what we can do to help Bernie during this? One of the things I suggested yesterday is that he demand Hillary release the transcripts to her $300,000 speeches she gave to Goldman Sachs and if she was paid by other Wall Street firms - I want to know what she said to them as well. I say put her on the defensive to take some of the heat off the attacks they are laying on Bernie. We need to know if she is telling them anything different than she is telling us.

We need to help Bernie. Do you have any other suggestions as to how to counteract these negative attacks?

1. Asking for the speech transcripts is very reasonable

Is she saying something different to her big donors? PRIMARY VOTERS NEED TO KNOW.

And if she's unwilling to share, one might then ask "why?"

2. Donations are the obvious way, if you can swing it.

Plus, using DU to just be aware of the details of each attack, and what Team Bernie's answer to it is,
so that when things get brought up in conversations with friends or on Facebook, we'll have the info
to defuse and expose attack for what it is: a cheap shot made out of desperation.

On edit: I also think asking for the transcripts of her Wall St. speeches is a great idea, it would rock
her back on her heals; and it's a fair thing to ask for, especially since We the People were locked out
of knowing WTF she's telling the the criminals on Wall St. she's going to do for them.

I thinking that responding in kind or going negative as well just backfires on us. I think Bernie just needs to stay on message and when asked about any of this BS just say "it's not true and they know it". we need to continue to get the main messages out and take to the internet and social media as well.

This is the simplest election choice ever. One candidate says the premise of Big Money Donations is inherently corrupt. The other candidate takes Big Money Donations. That is the message, and it is winning.

Remind people of all of these "socialist" ideas;

Public schools
Public roads
Public highways
Public librarys .....

And ask them if they would like to do with out those "socialist" ideas?

6. I think the best thing we can do is voter outreach. Phonebanking and door-to-door canvassing in Iowa

and the other early primary states is what's needed right now. That will allow us to circumvent the MSM and speak directly to voters, address any concerns or questions they have and convince them to vote/caucus for Bernie. These attacks will continue until it become inevitable that Hillary is going to lose, and they will probably get worse.

9. Maybe letters to the editor

in larger cities, calling out the false accusations and highlighting Bernie's positions and his record would help. It would be a good way to reach a large audience.

This primary season is just draining - all the lies, attacks and false accusations are just disgusting. I knew the Clinton machine would get dirty, but they are taking it to a new depth.

I hope it comes back to bite them and that there will be a huge backlash. Surely people will see through the mud slinging.
