PLAINS TOWNSHIP, Penn. - A woman celebrating her 100th birthday has a secret for living a long life: alcohol.
Pauline Spagnola knocks back a few each day. She loves beer, especially Pennslyvania beers.
Her love of a frothy brew has made her an internet sensation.
"What's your secret to a long life?" a reporter asked her.
"Drink a lot of booze!" she laughed. When asked to describe how she felt, she said, "oh, I can't describe it, but just wonderful!"

(59,875 posts)Someone was interviewing some guy on his 100th birthday, and asked to what he attributed his long life? His answer: "to the fact that I haven't died yet."
My own grandfather, who made it to 102, sent out a Christmas card when he was 99. It had a recent photo of himself, and a caption underneath saying: "Compliments of the Seasoned."
