Depression time and earlier resources

This discussion thread is pinned.

Household cyclopedia with cures and diy and more

https://ia601401.us.archive.org/3/items/Household_Cyclopedia/Household_Cyclopedia.pdf
I'd take anything in it with a shaker of salt (check it with other resources first) but
it's full of tricks and downloadable in Pdf format

and this "american frugal housewife cookbook"
https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/13493
again a shaker of salt (check online) but cool stuffs
No pdf that i found fast, ebook though, or html
if someone desperately wants i could probably download and convert to pdf
I'd recommend using an ebook reader software (there are free ones)

As is the Nook app. That covers mobi and epub files.

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out. I enjoy learning new (old) ways of doing things.

then also moonreader+ (i got the pro but the free does all but pdf) for android,
txt, html, epub, pdf, mobi, umd, fb2, chm, cbr, cbz, rar, zip or OPDS

and will read it out loud (yes, machine voice but still handy if there is no audiobook)

then some other tricks
For mozilla firefox (grabmybooks) is an add-on that allows saving a page (or multiple pages) as ebook/epub format

For Libre office (free office suite) writer2epub addon allows exporting to epub

and
sigil (allows creation and edition of epubs)
and
calibre (library/convertion between ebook formats)

all free cept for moonreader+ pro version

i've checked with admin and we can't post files to DU (i can see why..huge copyright thing )

enjoy the links
