That's a good deal. About a year ago I found a 6420 i5 for $280 I think. I had to pay Hoyt Feb 2016 #2

I was on ebay this a.m. looking for a new one and I don't have the money for anything half way decent. Right now I'm using an HP EliteBook (note: DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE THINGS!). It comes with no DVD/CDRW drive and I had to buy one (twice) and I simply hate it (constantly locks up!).

I'm off to newegg right now!!

Thanks again!!!

& recommend!!

Loved the battery hint too

also those places that have 'tax excemption season' for emergency supplies (Florida has hurricane tax exception (it's a week or so only though) on hurricane prep stuff) batteries can be bought without sales tax i believe

Thanks

a little extra for a warranty, but it's been a very good computer that can handle some big documents and spreadsheets. The one above looks even better.

I had no complaints until they tried to make some bad virus and malware app additions that the 32 bit OS didn't like.
Without the enterprise type of control and overly tight security, I expect it's a good performer.
The OS is 64 bit so the RAM could be upgraded to 8 GB I think.
