Guam Gov. Calvo prank called by Russian comedians
Gov. Eddie Calvo was prank called by a pair of Russian comedians about rocket supply from Ukraine to North Korea.
The exchange prompted action from the Mariana Regional Fusion Center, according to a press release from Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense spokesperson Jenna Blas.
In Sept. 2017, an email was sent to Adelup, seemingly from the office of the Ukraine prime minister requesting a phone call with Calvo about the North Korea threat, Blas said. The email included verifiable information, which led Adelup to proceed with the phone call.
The pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov on Tuesday posted a video with an audio recording of the phone call on their YouTube channel, which has more than 78,000 followers.
