IMO, candidates who are in their mid-late 70s can't stop time. Eyeball_Kid May 2019 #5

However won't he be on the primary ballots? Bernie won Michigan last time. I hope he drops out and not causes trouble.

Bodies NORMALLY decline can't keep up with the demands of everyday living in a working world. There's a reason that retirement age is set at the mid-60s. We should all accept this as fact. As one who is rushing headlong into my seventh decade of life, and yet physically fit, I can feel the increase in fatigue that's a natural feature of aging. I don't want a president who is in a similar situation, with fewer internal resources for optimal performance in a job that's considered to be the most demanding in the world. We have plenty of younger, more energetic, and very talented leaders who are more than capable of handling the tasks inherent in the office of the president.

It's time to pass the baton.

And it's pretty much the same attitude he seems to have had all his life. It worked pretty well in 2016 when he had only one opponent, but now other candidates are offering some of the same ideas but with better details and less shouting. While I don't necessarily disagree with you (I'm no spring chicken either and I don't think I'd be able to handle running for, let alone being president), in Bernie's case it's just on account of him being him.
