CNN compares Kamala Harris to GoT's Daenerys Targaryen

From the first time people heard of them, they saw the potential. And to date, both have lived up to the hype. But there are lingering concerns -- and fears -- about whether they represent too much change for a staid world.

We ridicule the radcons for treating '24' like it was reality, so we need to cool it over stuff like this (and West Wing, however good it made us feel).

happened in the last episode. That is how I found out Daenerys went on a murderfest and will likely get killed in the final episode (the betting in on Arya Starke to do the killing). The summaries talk about too much violence for my tastes, I like philosophical movies that cover the struggle of good against evil, without lots of unseemly characters that GOT seem to have.

But I know some of the characters because it is hard to avoid news feeds about the series. It is quite a cultural phenomenon along the lines of Star Wars or The Lord of the Ring. There are blogs that are devoted to breaking down each episode and what the most minute scene means, I was astounded to find that out yesterday (although I should have guess given by how much news print the series gets).
