Zerlina Maxwell was recently called out as having Bernie Derangement Syndrome.
The proof, a highly edited and deceptive video put out by a Sanders front group that goes by MSDNC. The contributors are: @spittingback, a huge Nina Turner fan who trashes Democrat after Democrat including their staff. It is a one hundred percent Sanders account. Their main target is anything Biden or Clinton. Pretty sure they think Clinton is still running.
@_memorable2, a twitter handle that says "I make Bernie vids and graphics." This person sticks to two things. Loving Sanders and trashing Biden. Last is @greg06897, who says if you will never vote for Bernie then you are either "don't care" or are and "asshole." This person enjoys comparing Biden to Trump and absolutely trashing the Democratic Party. These are the people calling a strong and accomplished woman of color "deranged." Here is who they put together a highly edited video together to attack as having "Bernie Derangement Syndrome." Zerlina Maxwell Zerlina Maxwell is an American political analyst, commentator, speaker, and writer. She writes and speaks about rape culture, sexual assault, gender inequity, sexual consent, racism, and similar topics.[1][2] She is herself a survivor of sexual assault and describes herself as a survivor activist.[1][3] Wikipedia Zerlina Maxwell is a political analyst and contributing writer for EBONY.com, theGrio.com, and Feministing.com. She writes about national politics, candidates, and specific policy and culture issues including domestic violence, sexual assault, victim blaming and gender inequality. She has consulted with the United States Department of State to promote the use of social media by students in the West Bank. Her writing has also appeared in JET Magazine, on CNN.com, The Huffington Post, The American Prospect, TheRoot.com Salon.com, and RawStory.com. She is also a frequent guest on Make It Plain with Mark Thompson on Sirius XM Left and on Fox News. Netroots Nation Zerlina Maxwell’s Secret to Taking On Sean Hannity Zerlina Maxwell has built a career around expressing her political opinions with wit and intelligence. Her Twitter feed gained the attention of President Barack Obama first, then Hillary Clinton, who hired her to lead the progressive-media outreach during her presidential campaign. Maxwell is now the director of progressive programming for SiriusXM, where she also has her own weekly radio show, “Signal Boost.” She regularly appears as a political analyst on prime-time TV, and speaks about sexual assault and other topics at colleges in engagements across the country. Here, she shares how she gets it all done. The Cut I find it to be nothing short of disgusting to attack a person who is fighting for us. I see it as similar, and might be perpetrated by a similar person or group, to the old Stockholm Syndrome garbage that was promoted by a small group about five years ago and was directed at minorities.

5. It's not her fault that Bernie is incapable of thinking on his feet.
He melts down if he has to deviate from his stump speech.

6. She's right about Bernie
But she didn’t impress me much when she was on Maher's Show recently and said the statue of Ralph Cramden outside an NYC bus terminal should come down. She did a poor job of defending her position and seemed to realize it was extreme by the end.

8. She isn't deceptive or deranged
I’m surprised/not surprised that defenders of the junior senator from Vermont are attempting to make that case.
I’d think they would have bigger things to tackle right now than a Sirius XM host and MSNBC panelist. And thus ends the “surprised” part of the post. I am not surprised at the level of venom being directed at a Sanders critic by Sanders devotees. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |

9. I like Zerlina, a lot actually
Mainly because she is a strong voice for all liberals and she often challenges me to think outside my biases.
It's funny to me that Bernie is the one who crapped out at the She the People conference with his ham handed answer to addressing concerns of women of color. He has a major flub and his fanboys rush to his rescue by...attempting to tear down those calling out Bernie. It's ridiculous and I wish more folks could see through that crap. Yes, Zerlina worked for Hillary, yes she is asking and calling on Sanders to "be better" in the way he approaches issues of race. No that doesn't make her deranged. If people actually listened to her for more than a few sec edited sound bite, they might know that. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

14. I agree. The trolls are hoping people didn't actually
see the full appearances of Bernie at She the People, and Zerlina on Real Time. I saw both, so I know that attack video is full of sh*t. Bernie was unable to answer direct questions and kept pivoting towards his stump speech, which is why ZM said what she said.

18. This shit is very O'Keefeian of them.
What does it say about some of our posters here when they post the leftie equivalent of James O'Keefe's doctored videos? It's not the first time either - remember the video of Diane Feinstein? Juries, or the admins if the juries end up leavibg it (like they left the infamous Stockholm Syndrome OP - so horribly racist) should remove such OPs and put the posters in time out.
