Reasons to try and compete in rural areas

Rural voters may not be the primary objective.
Just as with J.D. Scholten, if you run and don't win, you can still have an effect on
the debate. Scholten's opponent in the race no doubt had to adjust his or her message
when Scholten is getting so close.

Over time, the issues run on can then shift, if done right, toward the issues we want.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
