Buttigieg's Press Secretary Reaching Out to Alt-Right A-Hole Dave Rubin

Carlos Maza @gaywonk

Pete Buttigieg's press secretary reaching out to Dave Rubin. Absolute madness.

The contact in question:

Dave Rubin @RubinReport

Hey @PeteButtigieg, would love to sit down and chat. Can someone from your team let me know the proper channel to reach out?

Have @AndrewYang in a few weeks and working on @TulsiGabbard
---
Chris Meagher @chrismeagher Replying to @RubinReport

DM me

Buttigieg needs to provide an immediate walk back and explanation for this or else he has just removed himself from my list of possible candidates to support.

has said he will talk to anyone. While I despise Rubin, I have no problem with Pete talking to him as long as he stands up to him.

You don't attract voters from the other side without reaching out to voters from the other side.

to war with Iran, setting off a world war, and Dems are slamming Dem candidates?
Maybe a good way to do this kind of thing is simply ask DUers if they think our candidates should respond to solicitations to talk to people opposed to our values. That could open a conversation.
Otherwise, yeah. You don’t have to support him.
