has said he will talk to anyone. While I despise Rubin, I have no problem with Pete talking to him as long as he stands up to him.

Maybe a good way to do this kind of thing is simply ask DUers if they think our candidates should respond to solicitations to talk to people opposed to our values. That could open a conversation.
