Joe Biden Is Soundly Beating Trump In His Own Poll 😎

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/05/15/joe-biden-beating-trump-poll.html

Trump has convinced himself that Joe Biden is the same as Hillary Clinton in a similar way that the president has convinced himself that his campaign was spied on, it wasn’t, and China is paying tariffs, which they do not.

Donald Trump is stuck in 2016. As president, he continually reminds America and relives his previous campaign in his speeches and appearances. The president thinks that he can run the 2016 campaign over again against Joe Biden and win.

In some ways, Trump has the same problem as Bernie Sanders. The country has changed since 2016, but both Sanders and Trump are running the same campaigns that they ran years ago. Sanders is slumping in the polls, and Trump is in position to lose to Biden.

Joe Biden isn’t Hillary Clinton. He doesn’t come pre-baked with decades of negative media coverage. Biden is better at personally connecting to voters than Clinton. Hillary Clinton did win the popular vote in a presidential election. However, Joe Biden is not the same as Clinton, and Trump will be making a fatal mistake if he treats them both as the same.

In 2020 Trump is the establishment and status quo, and the Democratic nominee will be representative of change.

Joe Biden .... He has it to beat Trump...my option ….

Trump will insist he'd like to debate Biden.

Trump will even claim he wants, really wants to debate Biden whom he would crush, demolish, and humiliate easily and leave Biden running off stage, tail between his legs.

But, alas, Trump will say, I have president-business to attend to, trade negotiations to take care of, the war against evil, bad, nuke-building Iran to take care of, more tax cuts for the corporate wealthy to propose, etc., so, dang it, I just don't have the time.

I only hope that, when the Russian Asset bows out of any debate, the msm gives Biden ample opportunities to debate an empty chair. My cynicism is such, however, that I'm betting they won't and will, instead, concentrate on keeping Trump in the limelight -- as they did in 20-f**king-16.

Still, unless the msm chooses to make an issue of the Giuliani-inspired "Biden collusion with Ukraine" nonsense, I think Uncle Joe has a very good chance of beating on Trump worse than Nixon beat on McGovern, winning by such an overwhelming landslide that all of Trump's inevitable complaints about voter fraud will fall flat, ring hollow, and create much laughter among the vast majority of Americans of all colors, sexual preferences, ethnic origins, religious beliefs, etc.

Trump the Loser, I pray, will remain in the public eye as he goes to trial and is convicted of enough of his crimes to be sentenced to prison. As an ex-president, he probably won't actually don the orange garb of an inmate and be issued a cell -- but I'll settle for public humiliation and permanent house arrest, complete with ankle bracelet. It's always possible that his adult sons and daughter will not be so lucky -- and I would rejoice at their incarceration.

So, Biden will beat Individual-1. But the victory -- and subsequent restoration of the rule of law -- will not be complete unless we win back the senate. I harbor little hope of that happening. And, sadly, McConnell may well stay in power and hinder, even stymie, Biden's efforts to repair the damage and heal the wounds McConnell and Trump have caused.

I particularly enjoy Trump's oh-so-subtle attempts to talk-up Bernie and his supporters, saying Bernie has "lots of energy" and Bernie voters are "smart" and "they got cheated" and how he just feels so bad for them, being treated so unfairly like that. So hard to see through his motivation there.

Other than the fact that both Biden and Hillary are two of the finest Democrats to ever run for office, any negative comparisons that Trump tries to make between them will go over like a lead balloon.
