Gillibrand on MSNBC saying the way to respond to abortion bills is to "lift up women's voices"

Seriously?

She sounds like she's giving a filler answer to a question she hasn't thought very much about.

"Lifting up women's voices" is not an effective strategy for fighting this all-out assault. It can be one tactic in a larger, comprehensive effort, but she needs to please stop giving that as an answer as if "lifting up women's voices" is a plan. And if it IS the plan, what exactly does it mean and how are you going to implement it?

That was her answer. It sucked.

But nice try at deflection but care to answer my question? You suggested that I cherrypicked her response. I'm simply asking what else she said that responded to that question.

for yet. We knew whenever he said, "This is a serious problem and there are no easy answers. But we've just got to get it done!" he didn't have an answer. "We've got to get this done" became a euphemism among the staff for "I have no effing idea!"

That's exactly what Gillibrand's "We must lift up women's voices" sounds like. All that was missing was adding, "We've just got to get this done!"

yet she didn't even directly answer whether kay Ivey SHOULD veto the bill. Not would she but should she? Yikes. Gillibrand clearly wasn't ready for the interview. From a white house perspective, nothing to see here, IMO. Give me Harris, Warren or Klobuchar any day.

around the nation works for us. I don’t care for her or want want her for prez or being a nuisance, but as long as she’s saying the right things, fine.

Btw, last poll I saw had her dropped from 2% to 1%. Guessing too low for Ocasio to bother damning herself over.
