Joe Biden is a hard-core liberal, and a bit more populist than Bernie

According to political scientists of ontheissues.org, a website that analyzes politicians' ideologies based on their past votes, Joe Biden is a hard-core liberal.
Below are the graphs for both Bernie Sanders (also classified as a hard-core liberal) and Biden:

Bernie is a bit more liberatian (opposite of populist) than Biden.

have no problem tossing vacant, buzzword "labels" around.. like "establishment".

These descriptions seem much more benign and Not insulting, imo.

a thousand times until election day. IMO, it would not go well for us. Joe Biden misses that bullet, but you'd get a similar vision.

32. I like Bernie and I like Joe,

There, I vetted them. All of our candidates are way better than Trump. I'm not worried about red baiting, equating Socialism with communism, it has never worked in the past. If that's what Republicans are going to run on, let them. By the way, want to make a wager that if Castro is our candidate, Republicans will call him a Socialist/commie?

The only way we lose in 2020 is if we fight among ourselves, and the right wing corporate controlled M$M is already pushing that narrative.

31. Hard core liberals aren't cozy with the banking industry

With Sen. Joe Biden joining the Democratic ticket, there's renewed scrutiny of Biden's connections to the credit card industry. Biden has been particularly cozy with MBNA, a financial services company from Delaware, and now a subsidiary of Bank of America.

Over the past 20 years, MBNA has been Biden's single largest contributor. And as the New York Times and Wall Street Journal note, Biden's son Hunter was hired out of law school by MBNA and later worked as a lobbyist for the company.

The Times also details just how helpful Biden has been to MBNA and the credit card industry. The senator was a key supporter of an industry-favorite bill -- the "Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005" -- that actually made it harder for consumers to get protection under bankruptcy.

I never said I wouldn't support Biden if he becomes the dem candidate. I would.

I don't understand why you don't want me to discuss my thoughts on this thread.

This is why I chose Obama over Biden in 2008. Again I would have voted for Biden then if he was the dem choice in the general election.

As I recall, that act is also the one that made it impossible to discharge student loan debt through the bankruptcy process. That could be a problem for him in the current political environment, especially with mennials and others burdened with student loans.
