Since McConnell refused to path ANYTHING, a nationwide ban on private prisons would have been a heavy lift. I would have liked to see an executive order reducing the federal government's use of private prisons, though. In 2021, we need the new POTUS to do the exact opposite of tRump's efforts, especially Homeland's jails.
