Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forum
Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
Did I miss something?
Wasn't there an agreement among the Democratic candidates that they'd not attack each other?
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

OP
Unfortunately some candidates seem to think that doesn't apply when the frontrunner is the target.

Why would we want that? Because the party has to unite behind the nominee.

Yes, there was a "pledge". But the one who cajoled all the others into taking the pledge....

Maybe you should check the rules, right next to the one about not bashing Democrats

You need to distinguish between DU rules and the ones for the candidates themselves

Unless attacking includes verbal criticism of past actions, policies, or plans.

Why would we even want that? Its a campaign for the right to challenge for the most powerful office on earth, not a safe space.

Its personal attacks that are out. Just as some people disagree with medicare for all, others can disagree with 2005 bankrutcy act.
If the former is a bad idea then saying so is not an attack. If the latter was a bad idea then pointing that out is no an attack.
Some supporters are being to emotional.

And, no, I am not aware of such an agreement. And, of course, if a candidate is a Democrat only when it is convenient, any rules do not apply.
