Alexandra Rojas, Justice Democrats Knocking Biden's Speech

She's on a CNN panel. Rojas departs from her rant about Joe not elaborating on climate change and starts up with ancient history about Anita Hill and NAFTA out of the blue.

When Joes becomes our nominee, she'd better get on board, but quick.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

and vote Republican or some other thing, as they already promise, same as 2016. That’s a given. They’re not ours to lose.

The latest elections are different from other eras only in that times are so bad and election margins so narrow that they’re capable of throwing elections to the Republicans. Without that they wouldn’t be noticed.

In the midterms, though, they were overwhelmed by Democratic turnout, and things are lining up to have that happen all over again in 2020. And who knows, perhaps it might finally be the beginning of another 30 years. Stability and prosperity mean bad times for angry zealots.

supporters, for sure. I remember last time @90% polled at the NH and IA primaries said they were happy with Hillary as their second choice, and were; the IA pollster even put a word like "respect" or "admire" in a question and these agreed to it. And, of course, in the end 3/4 of all Sanders voters across the nation were regular Democrats who voted Democrat in the GE.

It's the others, the 24-25% of Sanders voters who refused to vote Democrat. 12% of those voted for Trump. Remember the "Dexit" movement to encourage people to leave the party? That's these folk.

So far at least one pollster measuring for them this year said around the same percentage are again saying it's Sanders or walk. (!) Terrible, but those aren't ours to lose.

Of course, we can always hope something finally causes some to say no to Trump and the growing threat of fascism in the only way that matters. Extreme cruelty to children as a specific federal policy didn't work, but maybe some action will push a more personal button.
