He responds to this young girl not as an adult teaching a lesson but as a very caring friend.

It looks like Biden -- at least as of today -- will take the nomination. And that'll be fine. I'll vote for him without hesitation. And if he takes Kamala Harris to be his veep, all the better.

But I'd really like to be able to give my vote to Mayor Pete.
