What questions would you like to see in the first debate?

I hope they address specific policies more than anything else but don’t ask leading questions like “Why are your policies better than...?” And I do mean specifics.

What’s your plan for addressing healthcare, how will we pay for it, and how soon do you expect to implement it?

Do you support Roe v Wade and if so how will you work to ensure it remains the law of the land?

What is your plan for the future of government funded education and how would you pay for it?

What is your view on climate change and how do you intend to create legislation if the GOP opposes it?

We need a lot of specific answers and we need them fast.

Thoughts?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

My main thing is, "how do you pay for what you want to do", how do you plan to get it through Congress? Lots of great ideas out there with no plan to implement any of it.

They need to have ideas, plans, something about climate change.

I'd also love to hear questions about the electoral college, and lobbyist money in politics.

Do you think Trump is a malignant narcissistic pathological lying moronic treasonous bastard or do you think he’s an extremely malignant narcissistic pathological lying moronic treasonous bastard?

I want them to dig into it. White supremacy still exists in our institutions and has sometimes been unintentionally perpetuated by well meaning decision makers. Do you see yourself as having played a role and what will you do to reform a system that still favors white people?

Since the descendants of African-American slaves were victims too?

Also many Hispanics had land stolen from them too. They should be exempt.

Obviously a general tax won't work since many victims would be taxed.

Maybe women should be exempt too since they never voted for the system that stole from Native Americans back in the 19th Century.

All worthy questions.

Even a half-dozen on the same stage makes things confusing and disorganized.

If there are going to be TWENTY (lord! ) on stage at the same time, they should at least have Jeopardy-style handheld buzzer buttons. Make it exciting! Ask the question to the group and the first THREE who buzz in can answer it.

Therefore, I want to know whether each candidate will pledge to hold members of this administration accountable for their actions even after they have left office or will they look to "turn the page" and let them get away with their crimes and outright flaunting of our democracy.
